A beautiful pair of vintage J&G Meakin Glamour Sol milk jugs in the gorgeous Jade colourway, made in England.

These two matching jugs feature the distinctive mid-century Glamour shape, with softly fluted bodies, elegant curved handles and pretty scalloped rims. Their soft jade-green glaze has that wonderful vintage character that makes J&G Meakin pieces so collectible.

The original GLAMOUR SOL J.G. MEAKIN ENGLAND Jade backstamp is present.

The pair includes:

• Larger jug: approximately 17 cm tall × 13 cm wide — good vintage condition.
• Smaller jug: approximately 14 cm wide × 10 cm tall — some fine glaze crazing consistent with age.

The smaller jug's crazing is a cosmetic feature of the vintage glaze rather than damage, and both pieces retain their lovely vintage character.

A gorgeous pair for collectors of J&G Meakin, mid-century English pottery or anyone who loves beautiful vintage jade-green ceramics.
